Vicki's daughter Ashley Wegel posted this lovely message about our friend, Vicki Bean Schoell

April 6, 1948 to June 16, 2022

"My mommy, best friend, and guiding light, passed away on Thursday evening (June 16, 2022) in MD.

Vicki’s parents were told she wouldn’t survive past toddlerhood, but she proved the world wrong and lived a full life of 74 years, with a loving husband, two children, and four grandchildren.

She was incredibly lucky that her cardiac needs always happened to align with the cutting edge of technology at the time. Her physical heart was just too tired from all the fighting. Her figurative heart will always be with each and every one of us.

Her warmth, kindness, smile, and generosity touched every person she met. It was impossible not to love this woman.

I am so grateful to have her as my mommy, and while this is an immensely difficult time, it brings a bit of solace to know that she is at peace now. We love you mama."
