Carol was born 12/27/1948 and passed away on 04/30/2023 of Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS)

She was offically diagnosed July 2022. 

Carol Insley Watson - December 27, 1948 – April 30, 2023

Carol Insley (Orr) Watson, 74, of Woodburn, Oregon, passed away in her home on April 30th, 2023, with family and friends by her side.

She was born to Shirley Jean Schillios and the late Hugh Carter Orr on December 27th, 1948, in Seattle, Washington.

She was married to Tom Watson on March 4, 1994, and they lived together in Snohomish, Washington, for over 20 years before embarking on adventures through California. They loved residing in the Mt. Shasta area before retiring to Woodburn, Oregon, 10 years ago.

Carol is survived by her loving husband, brothers Bill and Chris, and beloved children and grandchildren: Jason with grandson Zach, Chris, Ben, Paige with husband Ryan, and granddaughters Addison and Henley, stepson Kit with wife Chelsea, and grandsons Casen, Hudson, Colter, Rhett, Wyatt, and Clay. She is also survived by her sweet dogs Matilda and Stella and a long list of cherished family and friends.

She was a multitalented and accomplished, hardworking, creative, loving, stylish, funny, and spiritual woman. She had many passions that included reading, learning, gardening, painting, sewing, singing, animals, cooking, and enjoying time with her friends and family. She loved to have a good laugh, even at her own expense when misplacing her sunglasses on top of her head. Her thoughtfulness and fun-loving spirit will be greatly missed.

I'm saddened to hear about losing Carol. I loved her fun-loving attitude toward life! Condolences and prayers for her family.
