Karlene was my best friend all thru hi school. The first time we met we just clicked. Her mom & Dad were the best !!! I even went on a family trip in the summer eastern Washington. It was the only vacation I ever went on growing up. After graduation as is usual we went our separate ways. But tryed to kept in touch thru the years. We had lost touch for a while and she tracked me down and we had set a date to get together as we lived mikes apart . Then before we could get together ~ i was informed she had died unexpectedly. it broke my heart. Yet i felt fortunate that we had said all we needed to say the last time we talked. She was so open and honest and kind and caring and a very trusting person. I know she is missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
Most all who attended the Edmonds Park gathering that year had a chance to visit with Karlene...we, too, were shocked and saddened by her passing. That was a nice tribute Lorraine.

One of the kindest person I had the honor of knowing . I struggled in school and she was always
there to help me pass my tests. Without her I do not think I would have graduated from school .
Like a lot of use we have lost touch but I have always keep her in my heart.
Thank you
