12/4/1947 to 07/24/2023, Parkinson's Disease
No obituary per his request. His wife, Carolyn, shared the following:
No, he wanted to be buried in North Dakota where he was born and spent many summers. We had a service there. He didn't want anything. All of the family have passed. We all are being buried in Williston, North Dakota in a family cemetary.
I feel guilty for not doing an obituary, but those were his wishes.
We have a son Shawn and wife, Estelle who reside in Northridge, California
Twin daughters, Loree Hornbeck and husband Ronald, who reside in Sedro Woolley. Lacey also resides in Sedro Woolley.
Grandchildren are Riley Simmons Ramey Simmons of Sedro Woolley and Logan Hornbeck of Woolley as well.
He had Parkinson's for years. He actually died from clogged arteries and he had C-dif, which is a very contagious infection of the gut. He had been sick for years and had a lot going on. He showed strength through it all. I miss him.
