Linda Beale, longtime resident and friend of Woodson, Texas died Friday, December 2019 at Throckmorton Hospital.

Linda was born on October 1, 1948 in Everett, Washington to Warren and Ragna Platt. She moved to Woodson and married the love of her life, Terry Beale on October 3, 1984. Linda owned and ran the Woodson Inn with her daughter Carri for almost 20 years, bringing food and family to the community. Linda also earned her EMT license in order to help as many people as she could. Linda claimed her greatest accomplishment was being BAKEY (Grandma), to her wonderful grandchildren.

Linda had a passion for people and it showed through her kind heart and generous acts. She was a woman of many talents from raising horses, catching rattlesnakes, riding Harleys with husband Terry, and rounding up rowdy grandkids. She was known for her bright smile, infectious laugh, and warm hugs!

Linda was preceded in death by her parents Warren and Ragna Platt and her niece Brenda.

Linda is survived by her husband Terry. Her son Michael, his wife Meagan, and Kennedy. Her daughter Carri and her children Olivia, Tucker, Preslee, and Evie. Her sister Carole and her husband Gary, and their children Gary, Scott and Laurie. Linda is also survived by an abundance of loving family and friends.
